Most days, the work is straightforward: you get a written work order, you show up in the window we gave the homeowner, you do the job right, and you leave the place cleaner than you found it. That’s the whole job description, really. But there’s more to it than the task list. You’re in someone’s home. They picked up the phone, got a real person, and trusted us enough to let us into their attic. That matters here. Glenn Hartley built this location around the idea that a crew that does the job honestly – and backs it up in writing – is the kind of crew worth showing up for every day.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Attic Insulation Installer: Someone who can work in a tight, hot space without cutting corners on coverage – the person who takes the blower hose seriously and checks their depth markers.
  • Spray Foam Technician: Someone detail-oriented enough to prep a surface properly and patient enough to let the foam do what foam does – no rushing the cure.
  • Apprentice Installer: Someone who is new to the trade, willing to learn from the lead, and shows up on time ready to carry materials, ask questions, and pay attention.
  • Lead Technician: Someone with field experience who can read a job site quickly, manage a two-person crew without drama, and talk a homeowner through what they’re seeing without overselling.
  • Dispatcher / Job Coordinator: Someone organized and calm under pressure, who can keep a daily schedule tight, communicate clearly with both crew and customer, and never leave a homeowner wondering what’s happening.
  • Customer Service Representative: Someone who genuinely likes talking to people, takes notes, knows that a homeowner calling at 7 p.m. deserves a real answer, and understands that being the voice of the company is not a small thing.

What We Offer

Real Training and a Clear Path Forward

We don’t put someone in an attic and tell them to figure it out. New hires work alongside experienced technicians before they run their own jobs, and we’re specific about what “ready to lead” looks like so you’re never guessing where you stand. From apprentice to lead tech, there’s a path, and we’ll tell you plainly what it takes to move along it.

Work You Can Actually Be Proud Of

Because every job comes with a written price upfront and is backed by our 365-Day Done Right Promise, you’re never in the position of rushing a job to make a number work or hoping the homeowner doesn’t notice a shortcut. The standard is set before you walk in the door, and it stays consistent job to job. That makes it easier to do the work right – because the company isn’t asking you to do it any other way.

Local Crew, Backed by Something Bigger

Woolsey Attic Insulation is independently owned and operated, which means the people making decisions are here, not in a corporate office somewhere else. At the same time, we work under the Kingswell banner, which means access to eight leading material brands – Owens Corning, Johns Manville, Knauf, Rockwool, CertainTeed, Icynene, Demilec, and GreenFiber – and a set of operating standards that hold every location to the same Kingswell Guarantee. You get the feel of a local crew with the backing of something proven.

Steady, Year-Round Demand

Attic insulation isn’t seasonal the way some trades are. Homes lose heat in the winter and gain it in the summer, and the phone reflects that all year. We’re not promising something we can’t back up, but the nature of the service means work doesn’t dry up when one season ends. If you’re looking for consistent hours rather than a boom-and-bust schedule, insulation is a good place to be.

No Experience? Read This.

If you’ve spent time in construction, landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, or any trade where you’re moving through someone’s home and working carefully in a confined space, you already know more than you think. Spatial awareness, following a plan, working clean, and being straight with a homeowner when something isn’t going the way it should – those things transfer directly.

What we teach: the materials, the equipment, the installation specs, and how to read a job order the Woolsey way. The first few months, you’re alongside someone who’s done it before. You ask questions. You watch the prep work. You learn how we check our own work before we leave a job site. Nobody here expects you to walk in knowing the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam on day one. We just expect you to show up ready to learn it.
