Available Franchise Territories
Right now, Woolsey Attic Insulation is building out market by market, and every territory we open starts with one owner who gets there first. A protected territory means you’re the only Woolsey operator in your defined area. No competing against another Kingswell location, no undercutting from the same brand. First-mover advantage in insulation is real: once a homeowner trusts you to handle their attic, they call you back for the spray foam job, the garage conversion, the rental property. You become the local name for “attic insulation” because no one else in your territory is running the same playbook.
Open Markets
These states currently have open Woolsey territory. Some have obvious heat. Others have cold snaps that catch homeowners off guard. All of them need attic insulation done by someone who answers the phone and gives a written price before the work starts.
- Texas – From Dallas-Fort Worth sprawl to Hill Country growth, cooling loads are brutal and spray foam retrofit is booming.
- Florida – Humidity control starts at the attic deck; homeowners here pay for comfort and mold prevention.
- California – Title 24 energy codes and PG&E rates make attic upgrades one of the smartest retrofits a homeowner can finance.
- Georgia – Atlanta’s aging housing stock and hot summers create steady demand for blown-in and spray foam solutions.
- North Carolina – The Triangle and Charlotte metros are growing fast, and new construction isn’t the whole story; existing homes need reinsulating too.
- Arizona – Phoenix attic temperatures hit 140°F in July. If the insulation is thin or settled, the AC never catches up.
- Tennessee – Nashville and Memphis both swing hard between summer humidity and winter cold; attic performance matters on both ends.
- Ohio – Cleveland winters and Cincinnati’s older housing stock mean ice dam calls every February, and the fix is almost always attic air sealing and insulation.
- Pennsylvania – Pittsburgh’s row houses and Philadelphia’s suburbs both have attics that were insulated once, decades ago, with material that’s now compacted or inadequate.
- Colorado – Denver’s temperature swings and high-altitude sun load punish attics; spray foam and high-R batts are in demand.
- Washington – Seattle’s mild reputation hides wet, underinsulated attics that drive mold and energy bills higher than most homeowners realize.
- Virginia – Northern Virginia’s expensive housing market makes attic upgrades a cost-competitive alternative to moving for more space.
How Territories Work
A Woolsey territory is a protected, exclusive geographic area. We define it by county, metro, or a set of ZIP codes, depending on population density and market potential. You don’t share it with another Woolsey operator. Ever. That’s the deal.
Exclusivity means every attic insulation job and every spray foam installation in your territory is yours to quote. You’re building a local business under the Kingswell name, with the Kingswell Guarantee behind you, but you’re not competing with another Woolsey truck across town. The brand stays clean because we don’t oversaturate.
Territories get reserved in sequence. First come, first protected. We don’t hold markets indefinitely, and we don’t split metros into fragments that create confusion. When you claim a territory, we run a quick market qualification, then we put it in writing. After that, no other Woolsey franchisee can operate there. Your investment in the brand, your trucks, your crew, your reputation, it all compounds in one place without dilution.
We don’t fabricate urgency with fake countdowns. The honest truth is that some of these markets won’t stay open long. Texas and Florida in particular have seen serious interest. But we also won’t pressure you into a territory that doesn’t fit your plan. We’d rather you own the right market than rush into the wrong one.
